Lent 1

Join us at 10 am!

We are St. Paul's United Church in downtown Brampton - an Engaged Community of Faith!

We continue our Lenten journey this week.

Questions to ponder:

What do people say about Jesus?

Does it matter to you what people say about who Jesus is to them?

Who is Jesus to you?

Does it matter to people what you say who Jesus is to you?

Rev. Richard C. Choe will reflect on Mark 8:27-38 with “A Way of Seeing” as the sermon title.

A poem by Hafiz to ponder:

I

Have

Learned

So much from God

That I can no longer

Call

Myself

A Christian, a Hindu, a Muslim,

A Buddhist, a Jew.

The Truth has shared so much of Itself

With me

That I can no longer call myself

A man, a woman, an angel,

Or even pure

Soul.

Love has

Befriended Hafiz so completely

It has turned to ash

And freed

Me

Of every concept and image

My mind has ever known.

~ Hafiz ~
