Rev. Maryann Skinner

Maryann was born in Pictou, Nova Scotia.  Her ministry in congregations and chaplaincy has unfolded over time and geographically led her from Nova Scotia to Ottawa, Quebec, Toronto, Kitchener, Oakville and Mississauga.  Maryann’s husband, Dale is the minister at St. Paul’s United in Milton, so she had to work to not get her emails to our church offices mixed up.  Maryann and Dale have a daughter who is studying in Halifax.  For most of the years since Maryann’s ordination, she has served in congregational ministry in the GTA.  Three years ago Maryann began working as a chaplain at the Federal Prison for Women in Kitchener.   For recreation, she loves to play golf with her husband, and from time to time: she’ll dabble with arts and crafts; do creative writing; go skiing; and play in the garden.
